If it will help I will concede to you that LinuxCNC is superior in every possible way if you will concede that many of us have perfectly valid and not stupid reasons for wanting to continue to use our Mach 3 based machines on Mach 3. ![]() Yes LinuxCNC is an option, but why is that your first response to anything Mach? I don't want to buy Mesa Boards and replace my Smoothstepper direct plugin breakout boards, and loose my spindle control signal and relay source that's built into those boards and have to integrate something else. Yes, we are all brainwashed by Mach and we should all take our breakoutboards, and smooth steppers and throw them away and buy more new hardware just so we can run LinuxCNC. (of course I am talking about linuxcnc) but a lot of other control software don't have this limitation either. I want to be able to be able to pull file off the web.
